My personal run-down of the Films of the Year 2019.

Jumanji: The Next Level (12A): The Game Rebooted and just as fun.

by

One Mann’s Movies Review of “Jumanji: The Next Level”. More of the same… but still fun. 3.5/5.

Star Wars – The Rise of Skywalker (12): After 42 years, will it end on a bang or a whimper?

by

One Mann’s Movies Film Review: Star Wars – The Rise of Skywalker (2019). Not perfect, but a stirring and dramatic end to the nine-film main saga. 4/5.

A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (PG): “Anything mentionable is manageable”.

by

One Mann’s Movies Film Review: A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (2019). “It’s a Wonderful Life” and Hanks excels in a warm feelgood story. But for me personally, it didn’t hit all the right notes. 3.5/5.

Knives Out (12): Saving Rian’s Privates.

by

One Mann’s Movies review of “Knives Out”. A hugely entertaining Whodunnit in the Agatha Christie style by Rian Johnson. 4.5/5.
